Stitch bonded fabric combines the high tensile strength of uni-directional (non woven) roving orientated in a +/- 90 degrees for maximum mechanical properties with chopped strand (CS) mat on one side to reduce labor.
Results in more efficient use of resin due to fewer voids between fibers where resin can pool. Does not unravel when cut or handles. Combines 17 oz roving with 3/4 oz CS mat on back.
